Win of the Week – December 3-9

A member was missed for an overtime shift. Through investigation, management admitted they texted the member’s home phone number. This was a bit tricky because the shift wasn’t awarded to another member and we usually argue someone less senior has been awarded the shift which is being grieved. In this case, this member was the only one qualified for the OT shift so the shift ended up going unfilled. Once Human Resources became involved with MRC, it was resolved and our member got paid for the missed OT shift.
