Get Involved with the upcoming Worker’s Compensation Act Committee of Review Hearings

SEIU-West will be presenting a submission  to the upcoming Worker’s Compensation Act Committee of Review Hearings on November 16 in Regina at 10:45 am. Karman Kawchuk, Janice Platzke, and our SEIU-West Worker Safety Committee  Co-chairs, Bob Rowe and Tracy Hoobonoff, together with Lori Johb (past Chair and SEIU-West representative with SASWH)  will attend to present the brief and answer any questions. We want to hear your stories or concerns with WCB so that we can capture them in our brief and presentation. You can send your information to kelly.harrington@seiuwest.ca.

You can also share your personal story directly with the committee but for that you need to make an appointment at the toll free number 1-855-868-0960.  It is important that the Committee understand the constant challenges faced due to workload issues in our workplaces and the subsequent difficulties our members face when claims are delayed or denied.
